Red face access to medicine options

I've been in contact with several universities about access to medicine courses etc and hve had so many different responses, I wondered if anyone here could help me sort my head out. So last year i did my A-levels in the wrong subjects (didnt know what i wanted to do when i chose them), got ABB, which i might retake a module from to get it up to AAB, if that makes any difference.

ANyway, I want to do an access to medicine course in 2010 at COWA or sussex downs or something, but first of all didnt know how good you had to be to get in ( although im secretly pretty farking good at everything anyway.....) and secondly how easily do people in my circumstances get from an access course to medicine at uni?

Any help would be much appreciated as i feel like im going mad with all this rubbish going in and out of my head about how unlikely it is to work out.....

    Thanks a lot

    calm the f**k down

    look on this site:
Medschoolsonline - Medical Course Guide - Foundation Courses

it shows the unis offering the foundation course (so you do 1 year beforehand then go on to the proper medicine course with everyone else). only look at the ones which offer for non-science a levels since i'm assuming you fall into that category.

    dont worry im calm...
yeah thanks ive looked at that, it just seems that so many are only offering places to the 'under-priveleged' or people who did their a levels more than 5 years ago.....why should they care about that?? one of my a levels was physics which clouds up the whole science/non-science thing but i guess they mean non-chemistry n biology dont they? but surely there r plenty of people in my situation.....

for the non-science criteria, think it means less than 2 sciences. what were the other 2 a levels in? if you phone the science unis and ask them whether the physics a level lets you meet the science criteria then you'll be in luck.
