I am posting this in hope that someone may be able to answer whether or not I will have the necessary qualifications in order to study at a medical school. I am half way through a public services course which is supposed to be equivalent to three A levels and I noticed that some university's allow non science A levels. So I would be very grateful if somebody could tell me whether or not this would allow me to apply for a foundation course, and if not would it allow me to take an access course. The reason for me taking the public services course was that I wanted to become a royal marine but halfway through my application process was turned down due to my eyesight which cannot be fixed. After this I also found out that my eyesight would prevent me from joining any other public services so I was hoping that if I could pass my current course with all distinctions whether it would help me in any way in getting into or on the way to getting into medical school. I passed my gcse science and got a B in maths, though I did fail my english due to laziness not through lack of intelligence as I passed spanish. So would my lack of A levels still stop me from gaining access to a med school even if I achieved the required 70% on an access course.

Any help would be much appreciated.
