big help ! thnx
So does that mean we're in the same group? As in is there more than 1 biomed group? The prov timetable you are reffering to - is that the one they gave u in the interview? i thought that just was an example, i thought they said are actual timetable would be different as they were getting new staff etc. Im really not happy with them so far. it feels very unorganised. they havent yet acknowledged a receipt of my acceptance after several emails and messages. I also thought they would give us some information about preparing for the course over the summer, like a reading list..
When did you have your interview? I only had mine mid july..

Hey
Hi,
Yes indeed, the Lambeth college seems a bit Unorganised, and Time table was given to me on the interview, I had my interview in the Last week of July. I have called them, and visited the college as I live nearby and they said that as most of their staff is gone for Holidays, until 17 August, so they haven’t acknowledged some of the replied they got from Access to Med And Biomed. As far as I know there are 5 Groups, A,B,C,D,E, From which they have Group A will be the Medical Group and B will be Dentistry Group and C and D Will Biomedical Group and E will be Radiology, but this is all provisional. Indeed there isn’t much information about what to study on and prepare for the course, nor there is much information about the Modules or course content.
I hope that Helped. If you have any other questions let me know.

What were your interviews like? Do they assess you on science, or just basic maths and english? What questions do they ask you? What kind of work experience did you do prior to your interview? Did you have to show proof?

Hey
Ok, Firstly It’s just a Normal Interview, and they would not ask you to bring evidence for your Work experience. Secondly before they even speak to you, you will have to do 2 tests. One Literacy test Involving Writing an Essay about Why do you want to apply for This Course and/or College and How will this course affect your future careers. The Second test will be Simple 20 Questioned Level 2 Maths Test Involving Number, Percentage, Ratio, So basic mainly Maths.
After the Test You will have to wait until the Test will be marked and then they will tell you what the results are and will allocate you within Two groups of One who gone through and Second who didn't. after that There will be a group discussion which mainly involve simple questions asked by the students, like how the call are taught and what to will be they studying and how many students and Groups there will be.
And lastly I only have around 9 months of experience working in my Local Hospital but they never asked me about what experience I had as this was an group interview, not One to one.
Now I hope that have helped you.
If not Do ask and I will try to answer it.

Thank you for your reply.
I have a couple more questions, if you don't mind: Overall, how long did the whole thing take? Is there only one interview; and that's with a group? What kind of questions did they ask?
Thanks for your help

hey
Hi,
Well my interview lasted around 45 Min and that excluding the time for the exam which was 20 min for Numeracy and 30 min for literacy. Plus 1 hr it took for the exam to be marked and I think when I had the interview there was only one Lady with the glassed and you won’t believe but she is quite mean. Anyway the group interview Questions was mainly one the attendance of the course and how much private study required and how many exam and assignments there are and what are the options available and where do the student gone in the past from this course. So that sort of things

Mean woman with glasses! Oh dear, that can't be good! LOL! How was the woman mean? What did she do?
You had to wait one hour for your tests to be marked? Were you not allowed to leave the college for a while then come back later?
