Red face Access to Medicine at Lambeth VS Biomed Informatics at St Georges... CONFUSED!

    Hey all,

I would really appreciate some advice here. I'm stuck on what to do, I really want to do Medicine and its the only thing I see myself doing. The question is shall I do an Access course at Lambeth and apply for Medicine 2010 entry or just accept my offer at St Georges, study Biomedical Informatics for three years and then apply for Graduate Entry?

I really wanted to go to Uni this year as Im already a year or so behind which is making me consider accepting my offer at St Georges. Both routes will more or less take the same amount of time for me to become a Doctor. (ie, 7 years or so)

But I'm not sure whether I want to wait three years to get to Med School, then again I really want to go Uni. Also, I'm a bit iffy about the Access course, what if I dont make it to Medicine after this Access course, it'd be kinda like Ive wasted the year.

Anyway Im stuck! So any advice would be helpfull here. =)

Let me give you my honest opinion. No offence to any Lambeth college students but if you're going to do an ATM course, do the one at COWA.

I know COWA is much much better than Lambeth, and well recognised. But because of other commitments, I have to stay in London. So Lambeth, City and Islington and Birkebck are my only choices in ATM courses. And I've heard, Lambeth is better than the other two.
