If you have what is the acceptance rate and How hard is the course compare to Access to Medicine and how much support is available in terms of Study.

Hiya!
I've applied for this course for Lambeth and will be doing the interview next week.
I know a couple of people who have completed this course and said that it is a very rigorous course. Whilst some medical schools maybe asking for a distictions (70%) pass rate, others are asking for 90% in certain subjects (Kings require 90%).
As far as I know in Lambeth about 20-25% of the students get into Medicine or Dentistry, but remember this is probably because alot of the students on this course also want to do other life sciences.
Although Lambeth Access course isnt as well recognised as COWA or Sussex Downs, it is still somewhat popular, and probably the better one out the Birkbeck and City and Islington, but Im just quoting on that one.
A friend who completed this course and got a place at Kings, said that there is alot of support but teachers are also realistic about your chances of getting into Medical School.
Hope that helps
