Budget for COWA
Bonjour all,
I am trying to work out how much I should save for COWA but seem to just go around in circles! I'm going to get a part time job alongside my full time job to save up as much dosh as possible.
For those of you who have saved up to fund yourself; how much have you saved? I heard figures been thrown around of about £10k....

Well, average rent is about £70-75 a week. Aim cheap. You're there from the first Monday in September to about the end of June. Work out the weeks from that.
Factor in minimum of £120 a month for food, plus however much bills are. Usually the bills are included in the rent, it seems.
Course fees currently stand at around £800 so there's that.
No obvious transport costs as most of the properties are dead close to the college and King's Lynn is really small.
UCAS fees: £15
Travelling to interviews: optimisitcally around about £300 perhaps?
UKCAT fee: £65
Entertainment and other living expenses: whatever you currently spend and then halve it.
Books: £100-150 from me!
