    COWA; application form; UKCAT

Hi! I'd like to ask a few questions to past or current access to medicine students.
I'm seriously thinking of applying to the access to medicine course at COWA in 2009. My first question is when I must submit my UCAS application form. In 2009 or 2010 after I finish the course? I think the second one is more logical because that's when I'd know if I got the required grades for medical school. It's just because I read that applications for medicine must be received at UCAS by 15th October with almost one year in advance. So that means that, hypothetically speaking, if I finish the Access to Medicine course in the year 2009/2010, they'd only consider my application for September 2011 entry?
Also when do access to medicine students usually take the UKCAT/BMAT test? Right after they finish the course?
I'd be extremely grateful if anyone could reply me.

Assuming you get into to COWA, they'll help you with your application. So for now, you just apply to COWA and forget about UCAS for now.

Good luck, and maybe I'll see you at COWA. I have a deferred place there next year.

    Hi !

If you apply for 2009 @ COWA your application will be in and sent before the 15th October 2009 in readiness for 2010.

You take the UKCAT before the course (usually) and up to late September. BMAT I know someone doing it on 5th November I think.

    Hope that helps
