    Acc Science or Medicine

I know something called access to medicine, some med schools accepts it but what about access to science, basically its as same as medicine course, u do biology, chemistry, physics etc. So did any1 here apply using access to science route. I am not sure, admission tutors will accept access to science, if any1 knows anything about it, fill me in.

Best to contact the med schools you are interested in directly and get it from the horses mouth. There's a link to all their web pages with contact info on the "UK Medical Schools" part of the site.
ANYTHING WRITTEN BY ME ON THIS SITE DOES NOT REPRESENT THE VIEWS OF SOUTHAMPTON UNIVERSITY!

Finally a final year medical student!

From my experience, most Medical schools who accept Access courses, only accept Access to Medicine, except Newcastle, who accept a Science Access course. 75% of the universities which accept Access for Medicine, also informed me they only accept the course ran by the College of West Anglia. (can I use accept that much  )Take Clarkey's advice and contact the Medical schools you are interested in.

    Good luck.

I dont know why they dont accept Access to Science because it is as same as Alevels. Access to Medicine and Science, they are both same, you do biology, chemistry, physics etc.
I think I'll ask them if I do Access to Science plus 1 Alevel Science.

I agree, however, Access to Medicine is geared towards Medicine rather than science, hence cover the sciences at a different level, focusing on certain topic areas, compared to Science Access courses.
