    full body dissections

hi im a prospective medicine student, i'd like to know which universities have full body dissections in the course, this is because i find the course descriptions in prospecti too vague.

now im not asking anybody to give me a full list, that would jus tbe silly, I would appreciate any reply if you study medicine in a university which has or has not got full body dissections, and what you think of it.

    thank you!

Well Birmingham don't, because we're way too cool for dissection. No dissing around when you can do prosection...

Southampton do prosection for the first two years.
After that as part of a SSM (student selected module) you can choose to do dissection.

I see. Hey do you people know how cadavers are chosen? Like do these people sign an agreement before they died or their family signs an agreement etc.? I mean were they aware that their body was being used for dissection/prosection and medical studies etc.?
