How to prepare?
Hi, I'm Conor and I'm from the states. I like to think i have good grades and in all the top classes. I'm currently a sophomore in high school and I was wondering if anyone had any tips into preparing or applying to Leeds. A friend of mine goes there and my father tells me that England is the place to go to get a medical degree. Thanks.

Ask yourself what you can bring to medicine? What have you experienced in life? Im not very academic at all. I believe I have alot to offer due to my experiences in life. Despite one A and two B's at GCSE I have had an interview at Cardiff and Manchester. That means they were both happy with my GCSE's. I havent got into Manc and Im waiting for Cardiff.
Stick with it. If you want it, you can get it. Oh and re-sits are hard work but they are an option. I am re-sitting my maths GCSE as well as doing the Access To Med. All do-able. Stick with it.High School 1997: 10 GCSE's A-C
Mancat 2007 : Access To Medicine 7 A* Distinctions.
Cardiff University School Of Medicine 2008: 3rd of 6yrs
