Class Relations.
Im quite sad

I really like everyone in my class. I really genuinly dont dislike anyone. Some are more difficult to handle than others, some have had hard lives, some have had privelaged lives.
I think the stress of the course, of UCAS and the long days has contributed to a little 'blip' in group relations. Im just a bit sad about it, might sound childish but I just like it when everyone well...... gets on.
Im not dumb, I know its impossible to expect everyone to be best mates, I dont think there is any malice or desire to hamper anyones education in any of it, think its just the stress of the course. Just a bit of a shame, I didnt expect it to occur with 'mature' students either.
Hope it gets back to normal after these first exams, such a great bunch of people in my class, great sence of humour in everyone too.

Hi Mamba,
Sorry to hear about that.
When I was at Mancat last year we all started off good friends. It started to go a bit wrong from the November when people began to get invites for interviews, while other people received rejections. It's a horrible situation and there was a lot of bitterness from some people. I'm sorry to say it didn't really improve either.
Just keep your head down, get the work done and know that the year will go quite quickly from January and you'll be out of there!!
Good luck with your exams!

thx
Thank u guys, thats very kind.
Im doing ok, i travel nearly 3 hours each way to college, im loving the couse , wild horses wont hold me back from those lectures. I was feeling low this week, my confidence was down and my self doubt was high, we have took an exam or assignment in every module and the reults are just comin in. I got 89% in physics which im really happy with, i worked hard for it, havent done physics for 10yrs and that was gcse. My Chemistry teacher didnt have the results this week, but afterward he assured me that Id done well. So im feeling good. Im going to spend the wkend brushing up on Biology ( molecules... proteins, carbs, dna and rna) and Physics (vectors, trig and finding the Vo in an object travelling in a straight line) Great !!! xxx

Not entirely related, but I'm on the Foundation Year of Clinical Sciences at Bradford Uni and I'm just going to say that we had a Biology exam the other day and there were some people spreading rumours that we had to learn latin names for the exam. Just to steer people in the wrong direction and to weed out the competition.
I didn't fall for it, but I know some people who did.
