I have heard that there is a certain amount of emphasis on your UKCAT score in application for the 4 year courses, otherwise, the standard 5 year courses consider it alongside a number of other factors, such as your performance at COWA (as opposed to A levels), your P.S, what you have learnt from any practical experience...and things like this.

Graduate entry courses will be putting a heavier emphasis on your UKCAT, especially those like Kings and Warwick who do not take GCSE and A level grades into consideration.

I wouldn't worry about it too much (although you need to get some practice in), because if you don't perform as well in the UKCAT and you are applying for a 5 year course, there will be a number of other things they will be looking at rather than making a decision based upon your UKCAT score.

Saying that, the UKCAT does seem to be more important this year than last year.
