City and Islington course
Well hello all!

I was wondering if you would be so kind to share some of your forum wisdon with me.
I'm in the process of applying for various A2M courses, most of the usual.
I'm curious as to whether anybody has any information about the A2M course on offer at City and Islington?
Any insider tips, details or opinions would be gratefully received.
Thankings you!

No answers. I told you the opportunities don't exist. Therefore, forget them. It is a rubbish course. The stars exist that we might knowhow high our dreams can soar

Blueberry, I see you have got yourself a place at QMUL on a biochemistry degree. First of all congratulations, but i thought you were gonna apply for an access course that was linked to MBBS?

No, I done access this year. I didn't get a place, so I have decided to do the chemistry degree at queen mary's and then I will apply for grad medicine instead. I am too impatient to wait another year.
Also by the time I do a six year course, add another year for intercalation, and I have seven years anyway. So I may as well make sure my chemistry is in excellent condition and apply for grad med.
P.S It is Chemistry with a tiny bit of biochem. Not a biochem degree. Chemistry is what these med schools want and that is what I shall give them.

Indeed. I have even managed to get one of my old chemistry lecturers from south bank to give me a helping hand with some of the chemistry I missed at lambeth.

pharmacology indeed!?!?!?!
You can P*** right off there. They asked me on the phone, if I would be interested in chemistry with pharmacology, or chemistry with forensic science or biomedical sciences (because of the 10 guaranteed places for grad med after). But I told him, I am not disillusioned to making myself believe I could be in the top ten to get in, I want chem with biochem, and I am gonna do med after. He thought it was a very wise choice, and he seemed like a lovely man.The stars exist that we might knowhow high our dreams can soar
