Hi all,
Just want to know whether there are any colleges or institutions in scotland that do THE ACCESS TO MEDICINE PROGRAMMES.
Also, are any of the medical schools in scotland accepting graduate entrants to medicine for the 4years medical programme being done by some unis in england?

Hiya,
I believe that Stowe (spelling, anyone?!) College run a feeder course for Glasgow's medical school. They run the only Access to Medicine course in Scotland, to my knowledge.
Aberdeen and Edinburgh accept the King's Lynn Access to Medicine course... Edinburgh, I think, ask that you have AAAA in your Highers or a 2.i in a previous degree, though you should check on that... It's really not so bad in England, ya know?!
I don't know of any graduate medicine courses at Scottish medical schools, but I was never looking into them too carefully - I may have missed one or two.

Hey...
Yep, you're right, the only Access to Medicine course in Scotland is run from Stow College in Glasgow. It's in it's infancy compared to the course at West Anglia, and is still finding it's feet. I believe that they have about 20-ish places on their course (when I checked into it last year) and Glasgow University Medical School takes about 3/4 of them onto their course.
As far as I am aware there are no graduate entry courses for Medicine, yet, in Scotland.
DH2005's right, you know, Engerland aint that bad... I've come all the way from Glasgow to King's Lynn this year, and they're a friendly bunch really.... :-)round, like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel...no end and no beginning, like a never-ending reel...
