In response to mr faisal, my ps was exemplary according to many professional and respected docs. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I think it comes down to who's doing the interview and depends what mood there in. I think they also stereotype as soon as you walk in the door and once they have a preconceived idea of you before the interview starts then that's it-no place.

As for the money, I have a friend that's lets say a multi-millionare from chinese medicine. He started with a small clinic, opened another and another and travelled the world. He is only 28 years old. Just think how long it takes to do your med degree then train to be a gp then work your way up bla bla. If you practice chinese med, depending on how good you are and your client base you can easily earn a million in a couple of years (only in private practice). Then all you have to do is widen your business nationwide and you've got a multi-million income.

    Hi Raymondo
I'm a medical herbalist - different to you I know, but similar enough to have something in common! It took me 4 years to get the degree and it was very hard work. We used all the same books as conventional medical students and was trained in clinical skills and diagnostics.
Unfortunately I am hardly scratching a living at the moment. I think as things stand right now it's very unrealistic to think you can make good money in alternative medicine - although it does depend on how dynamic you are (I'm very!) and where you live.
I'm very suprised you didn't get in at Manchester. I'm glad you are enjoying your course now, best of luck with it all!
