    hello mnns3aal
first of all RELAX! it will probably be Derek Holmes that will be interviewing you and he is a top bloke, he is the course director and his main aim is to get people into med school and he,s very good at doing that.
Now i might be wrong here so dont quote me but i felt that the interview for KL was just a formality, if they didn,t think you have what it takes you wouldn,t be getting invited down there.
Be very smart in your appearance, look like a future doctor.
He will probably ask you a question along the lines of, 'If a friend came to your door at night obviously upset, what would you do?'
the answer that he wants to hear is that you would invite them in and find out what the problem is and is there anything you can do to help them. This demonstrates that you have empathy and a genuine caring nature towards people.
If you haven,t already got it try to get some experience of helping or looking after people or doing some sort of voluntary work, this looks good on your cv and will eventually go on your ucas form which you will soon be sick of the sight of.
Hope this helps any more questions and you can pm me and i,ll see if i can help.
    Craigyboy.
ps its a fantastic course and worth any struggle or sacrafice to get on to, but it is quite tough

Wow... for someone who used to post ten or eleven times in a day, I've been damned quiet for a while, haven't I?!

Apologies for not replying to your PM, kiddo... though, from what I've read immediately above, I'd say you've been told all that you need to know.

I'd say this, foremostly - if you've been invited to interview then you're as good as accepted, already. Seriously. I don't know of anybody being interviewed at this time of the year who didn't succeed in getting a place.

Turn up on time, look the part and keep your head together. Nothing to it... Good luck. Not that you need it.

I have applied at the end of Septemer i think and recived an interview letter at mid Nov for the 16th of Dec.

    Hi

So is your interview for a linked place or just teh A2M? I got my stuff in by mid november - I rang the college this morning and they have my references and will be in touch ?with an interview date (I'll feel better when I get the letter though as they couldn't give me a date)

I'm from a paramedical/primary care background - working in the NHS for the last few years as a Primary Care Technician - This is basically working withing the local out-of-hours GP and ambulance services. I've been lucky enough to get some strong references so fingers crossed.

Let us know how you get on in your interview.
