    Welcome to the forum.

If you click here you will find a link to the UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) website showing all of the universities that offer degrees in dentistry. If you have a look at the links in orange they will give you some information, or you can follow the links to the university websites and look there.

As far as I can tell you would need to do Chemistry, Biology and something else at A level, and get grades around AAB.

    Hope that helps.

Hey. Im a second year college student and applied for medicine this year. My advise to you is is take 4 AS levels including chmistry and biology. In the second year carry on with 3 A levels including both chemistry and biology, and drop any of the others. As for the other two subjects they can be anything you want really as long as they are written subjects (i.e. engligh, history, economics, accounting, sociology). As far as i know for medicine universities DO NOT state that you need a third science subject like maths or physics. Infact, some universities state that the prefer a different subject such as one from the arts.

And always aim for grade AAA in everything, althought what you need is AAB/ABB.

What do the websites say on the subject? I'm a medic, so I don't really know anything about dentistry entry requirements .

I can't see any reason why the third subject couldn't be maths, but check the entry requirements of the universities. Same goes for grades... Most that I can see want AAB in the three A levels, but you will have to confirm this yourself - again have a look at the websites.

Mithun - this is a question about Dentistry, not medicine... I don't think the non-science preference has much weight here, could be worth investigating though.

I dont really know about the ICT being a written subject or not.

I'm also interested in medicine so umm might not be the greatest help.

But my friend got all four offers for dentistry last year. She took A levels in biology, chem , physic and maths. All science, not really sure if they like all science subjects but they seem to be ok with maths. they want Chemistry for sure and maybe biology too.

Work experience, she had four weeks in a dentise and other school things like year of council and things.

Offer for last year were ABB-AAB, I think all the offers she was made was AAB.

She's in first year of dentistry at Leeds.

All the best. Hope this helped a bit.
