When to expect answer from KL

Hi,

i am from Germany and have applied for the access to medicine course at Kings Lynn in May. I´m getting nervous already as no answer has reached me until now. What do think when i can expect an answer from KL? And how is the chance for german students to get into the course?

I assume you have not been interviewed???

I would suggest calling them, and asking, as it's very late in the game. Considering the course starts in September and it's now July, I would get things sorted asap!

I asked for a receipt acknowledgment literally bombarding Derek Holmes three days after I sent them the appl. pack. I did receive the acknowledgement by mail few days after. My referees received their reference requests some twenty days later. Ask them if they received anything and if not, call KL immediately and find out! I can't say anything about the odds of being admitted as I am an EU applicant myself and my rletters went out yesterday. Let's stay finger crossed though, nothing's lost yet. Lets see what Aloha has to give as an advice from her side. I am confident she will post soon.

I am from France, and I have an offer from King's Lynn.
Dont worry because it took them a very long time to get back to me (5 to 6 weeks). I don't blame them though, because my referees took ages to send their reference.
One thing that you can do is to call your referees to check if they had an email from the college and if they have sent their reference. Watch out: if they have sent their reference by email, V Oldfield may not have received it (one of my referees sent it by email, and the email had been blocked by the anti-spam of the college).
Then, if there is any pb, call the college. They are very nice, and I am sure they will let you know if they have received all the documents related to your application, or when you would hear from them.
