    Access into which med school?

Does the access to medicine allow one to be considered for the Medicine courses at Bart's London and Dundee????

    If so,

at which one of the two will I stand a better chance with an access to medicine??

    THanX!

Unless you have a spectacular CV, Barts won't look at you. Their admissions department told me, unequivocally, that they don't consider applications from Access to Medicine students... I know of one guy on the Access course who has an offer from Barts, but he's been working abroad as an aid worker on-and-off for the last decade - they made an exception for him.

Dundee, I don't know about. Give them a call.

Any particular reason why you're targeting these two medical schools?

I have a 2:2 in BMedSc, and a MSc. This is why I am very, if not, fully restricted to where I can apply. Some places, i.e. Manchester, have told me that they might consider me in light of my mitigations.

Barts said theyd consider me, but Im worried, as all med schools say that, but the London ones esp. tend to pick all the 1st and 2:1 grads...well, duh, I dont blame them!.

I cant think of any other med school which does? I thought Dundee might...but unsure now.

Im applying to UEA, Aberdeen, and Manchester for sure, but UNSURE about the 4th choice....CAN ANYONE PLEEEEEASE HELP ME!!!!?????? Is there another Med School which you know of that will consider a graduate with a MSc, and on an Access to Medicine course for there 5yr course???
