Im starting the Access course at Kings Lynn this year, and in same situation with you with a 2.2.
Best bet is to write to the med schools you want to apply to with your cv asking if your qualification background is suitable for application- ive had a mixture of replies so far.. some of it positive!
It's becoming tougher to use Access to Medicine with a 2.2, true, but it's becoming tougher to use Access to Medicine in general so I think everyone joining the course has more of a fight on their hands than would have been the case a few years ago. That said, the number of people on this year's intake getting offers is still very impressive - no need to get too anxious, folks!
Thanks guys!
@FairytaleGirl - A doctor I know got married before she qualified and took on her husband'd surname. They then divorced a few years after the qualified but she is still known by her...
I'm worried about putting all my eggs in one basket. It's funny because that's what I've been doing for years!
As for how many people still hanging on by their fingernails, I've lost count!
