You flatter me - I studied law because I didn't know what else to do with myself and I went into practise because it was the only job that paid well enough to discharge my disgraceful debts.
I shouldn't whinge about law school too much, though - it wasn't all bad. Legal study was sometimes interesting and, more to the point, the degree looks impressive on paper. If it gets me into medical school, it will have been worthwhile.

Amstel go ahead and out your application in! At the best you'll get in this year at the worst if the accept you - you'll get in for next year!
Either way if you don't put it in you will never know!It won't kill you to try and if it does well at least you died trying

Thanks DH2005! Well, I hope they will like my profile. I also applied for a linked-place with UEA. If I have a place at KL, I will be really happy
, and if I succeed to have a linked-place with UEA, it will be paradise! Ok, if I make it, I will have champagne with you
I would like to become an oncologist, and I have seen that UEA has an outstanding oncology professor, who is very active. She published a lot about cancer and she even co-edited a book. That would be awesome for me if I could have an offer there!!! Fingers crosseddddddddddddddddddd!!!
How are things going for you DH2005?

Going to work everyday blows - but other than that, okay. I need September to come around quicker than it's doing at the moment... then, all I have to be concerned about is performing properly on the Access course and getting into medical school.
The stress is only just beginning, I fancy.

They have sent my referees a letter requesting a reference. Are the referees suppose to be able to comment on your academic qualities? because one of my referees can only comment on what a great person I am. who provided you guys with your references?
ALOHA, so you havent got a place on the course yet? I thought you have already gone for your interview. they told me my application can only be processed after they have recieved the references from my referees.

Amstel, I don't think ut matters too much about who your references are from just so long as they're good, if you don't mind me saying..?! My two refs were from an old school tutor and from a Consultant who organised some work experience for me. They discussed my character and motivation etc and explained what steps I've taken to experience Medicine as a career. (Sorry to butt in by-the-way!)
round, like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel...no end and no beginning, like a never-ending reel...
