heyy!
please if anyone can help please do so! My tutor has been asked for an additional reference which i have typed below and I really need to tell my tutor what to write! please reply ASAP cz it needs to be given in 2moro!

1. what has the applicant done to investigate the reality of being a doctor?

2. Please comment on the candidate’s study skills:
* what is the standard of the applicant’s oral and written communication skills?
* To what extent is she capable of independent study?
* How does the applicant tackle new topics and ideas?
* Can the applicant synthesize and apply knowledge from different areas of their studies/life experience?

3.Please comment on the applicant’s involvement in extra-curricular activities (either within school or broader community)

4.Please comment on how the candidate behaves in a team work situation:
* Can she take the lead when working in a team
* is she able to take responsibility for their own actions ad those of others?
* In what ways has the applicant shown herself to empathise with the needs of others?

5. Is there any other information that you would like to bring to the attention of our admissions tutors? In particular please mention any factors that you feel may have contributed to the applicant’s under-performance in the past?

I would just like to know what important points should be included in these categories! PLEASE HELP!!

I remember having to do that. And i did it myself.....without help from the forum even though i was using it at the time. Its your application, they want to see what you think you've done. Not what we tell you you should put down.

lolll! thanx 4 making me feel quite silly loll! its just that i haven't taken part in no extra curricular activites, done no major thing apart from work experience! so i am really quite stuck on what to write!

heyy!! yeh i ended up doing it myself and suprisingly found that once i started to write i had so much to say and thank god i have an interview now, on the 6th!!!!! :-) gud luck 4ur interview and plz leme know how it goes culgurl!!! best of luck again!!

I, too, had an additional reference form and like hope_4_eva and Clarkey said, it's really not that bad once you get started. I don't think anyone can tell you what to write as everyone's experiences are so different that it wouldn't help.

I did it by brainstorming first, then cutting out the crap, then cutting out the superfluous and then, I polished it up. Hope that helps.
