Does anyone know if we can apply more than once to Aberdeen? I want to apply this summer to see what the process is like and then I want to apply again next year strengthening my application?

If you apply this year, and get however far you get in the process (who knows, you might get all the way, in which case it's great news) and then re-apply next year, I'm pretty sure it would be allowed. If you got to the interview stage the 2nd time round, more than likely they'd be aware of you applying more than once and will probably ask you about it so it'd be a wise idea to have a planned answer for that (which it sounds like you do).
If you're a Canadian overseas student, you'll have to pay for tuition fees and I haven't heard of Aberdeen EVER giving up the opportunity to make some cash!5th Year Aberdeen
