British Applicants have lower chances of getting in to Aberdeen??
So i'm making my choices for 2012 entry, and was wondering as an English girl who took the IB if i'll be at a disadvantage applying..? I really like the look of Aberdeen but would i be better off applying somewhere else? I don't want to 'waste' an application!!
Any thoughts would be really appreciated, thanks!

Hello E.B.
The school's undergrad application page lists IB alongside 'regular' English and Scottish examinations - I'm sure they'd mention any preference if they had one in this area.
As far as the nationality goes, Aberdeen has a quota for international admissions but I'm not aware of any restrictions in no of English/Welsh/N.Irish students accepted each year.
Your best bet would be to call the admissions office though - they'd be able to provide you with most up-to-date information.Aberdeen Uni - MBChB year 4
