2010 Applicants/Interviews

I was sent an e-mail a couple of days ago asking for some more information on my application and was told if I didn't provide this by 10/11 then my application wouldn't be considered. So by the looks of it they are looking through the applications and will be moving on to the next stage mid November. Hopefully this will alleviate some fears out there (I had no acknowledgement up until this point).

Someone on TSR called them up and they said we'll know whether we have interviews in 2 weeks time :O

Got my acknowledgement letter today!

In the letter it said they have an "Applicant Portal" at the University (don't know if this was available in previous years or not), where they say I can track my application "every step of the way".

Gonna log on now and see what its all about.

I got one as well...my first acknowledgement...yeah...i am happy!!!

The applicant portal website is http://www.abdn.ac.uk/applicportal (you'll need your UCAS applicant number for this) - it was available in the past, and it allows u to see whether they made any changes to your application status. Some people check it every 15 minutes, but as Hamzah pointed out, it's running on a daily snapshot basis, so it'll suffice to check it once in the morning
