Hi,

I just got an interview in March (I'm international) but I am going to be in the UK next week, do you think it would be a bad idea to ask to reschedule? Or should I just postpone my trip? I don't want to do anything to annoy admissions!

hey Malbec,

They gave u a pretty long notice before your interview there... unless u have a valid reason for being unable to attend an interview in March, I don't think they'll amend the date just because you happen to be here in a week's time.

If you do have a good reason though - (e.g. the flights are super-expensive and u can only afford one such trip.. on the other hand, in this hypothetical case you should've waited until they invited u before u booked the tickets ) - u should definitely give them a call, and I'm sure they'll try to re-schedule that for you

Is there anyone applying from EU who got an interview/offer yet?
I asked on the virtual open day how long before they would inform us if we got an interview and they said there would be plenty of time. Considering that I would need to book a flight and take of time from school, and they're doing their last interviews in March I'm getting really nervous.

hey marieke, i think u should have heard something by now. Im applying from Ireland and i got my invitation for interview in mid december. The interview was scheduled for 18th of january or something like that. i couldnt attend then so i rescheduled for feb 16th, but yeah i think u should have heard something by now

Yeah I'll side with Medicine Woman here - there is still time, no reason to panic - I got my invite in late February

Hey Thompson,

The 'prospective students' page describes the interview format and gives some pointers as to what can be expected. If you're looking for more specific examples, just browse this thread for older posts. Many others before you asked the same question, just look for the answers they got.
