Does the windsurfing club actually exist? If so i wish i had joined! I always just thought it was the surf club with a couple of ppl who windsurf and own their equipment so no one to really teach you
Windsurfing is fun though :> I'm pretty sure there is either kite surfing or kite buggies but its not an aberdeen uni club, just an aberdeen one. Would be expensive but v cool!

As usual rob, your words of wisdom never cease to amaze me.

I was thing of some variant of martial art. then i could be a crimefighting doctor, how badass would that be.

i also hear shinty is pretty poular up those parts of the counrty. and if that guiness advert is anything to go by, it looks pretty hardcore.

Im looking for something a bit different really.

I mean my adv. chem teacher took up volleyball in uni and now he is teh chief rulewriter of volleyball IN THE WORLD. Infact, it would be fair to describe his as the head man of volleyball. how sweet is that.

Not that that is related in any way to what we were talking about but who cares, pretty cool if you ask me.

R U suggesting we start a volleyball team, Ruridh? I'm up for it, especially since there is a very strong RGU team regularly training in Seaton Park, and my brother-in-law-to-be is one of their regulars. Would be sweet to kick his *ss in his own game

Oh and you don't really need a coach to learn the basics xD

psycgrad - yeah that's correct, they're not a club on their own right, however I guess someone would be bound to teach you if you asked them, that's the whole idea of clubs, helping each other out

Aha, i see a plan emerging from a hazy cloud of doubt. well i dont really, but it sounded fun.

Although, maybe not volleyball. There is no way i would be able to concentrate when we played the womans brazillian beach team. because, now lets ace it, that is teh kind of opponenet we are up against.

how about... bog snorkling?? do you reckon there is a bog snorkling club?? that would be cool.

Bog snorkling??? Sounds interesting but a bit gross. I like the martial arts idea. If we had a medsoc kungfu society we could have a whole team of crimefighting doctors.

Yeah, martial arts doctors would be so cool, we'd know exactly where and how to strike to cause just enough damage to deter the opponent - and if anything went wrong we could revive them using our amazing skills and knowledge, it'd be awesome :P

I like the martial arts, i like the shinty, i like the bog snorkling (only need to go the north sea for that) but you know what I would love even more than those 3 put together?

The Forward-Rolling Club.

Whgat we do is wear a special helmet with a curved piece of steel going down our back, we roll on this and can do for up to 8 miles. Imagine that down union st, they wouldnt see us coming (literally). Oh yes.
