I don't think Aberdeen have a list of interview question like HYMS. My interview was based around my personal statement and was very relaxed. Obivously you need to know the basics such as the draw backs of a career in medicine etc.. but at my interview at least they seemed to be far more concerned with me as a person. All you can do is be honest and show them you are passionate about medicine
I've had offers from both and personally I felt it made the interview harder as I felt that they expected perfect answers. The interview also didn't feel as relaxed. It would be worth considering the key points raised in the HYMS questions before any interview, but I really feel it is not helpful to have them in advance though I thought it would be great before my HYMS interview
Thanks guys!
@FairytaleGirl - A doctor I know got married before she qualified and took on her husband'd surname. They then divorced a few years after the qualified but she is still known by her...
I'm worried about putting all my eggs in one basket. It's funny because that's what I've been doing for years!
As for how many people still hanging on by their fingernails, I've lost count!
