Interview questions posted (4th March)
I had my interview on the 4th March and it seemed that people didnt turn up as the Admissions lady asked to take my interview 45 minutes early and stated that people had just rang her to say that they were not turning up.
The questions were probably the hardest yet I answered them Ok, well, it seemed at the time as I already have the offers I need...
The questions were:
Why medicine?
Were you interested in any other professions before that?
Besides communication skills, what other skills must a Dr posses?
Can you learn communication skills *Contradicted answer*
What would you prefer in a Dr - Good communication skills and bad clinical skills or good clinical skills and bad communication skills?
How have you developed your communication skills?
How did your GP posses good communication skills?
How would you fit into a medical team?
What makes a team work?
Should there be a leader in a team?
What would you do if a member of your team wasnt pulling their weight?
What would you do if they did it again?
Would you involve a 3rd party?
How would your parents describe you?
What do you think are your worst qualities?
What do you think are your best qualities?
Are you stressed at the minute?
How did you find your examinations?
Are the grades you attained good enough?
How do you revise?
How has it changed from last year?
Tell us about your science bursary..
How did your work experience make your choice to study medicine stronger?
What would you do if you never got in medical school this year?
Have you considered a GAP year?
What advantages are there of a GAP year?
What problems exist in the NHS?
What are the reasons?
Are there any other reasons?
What would you do to differ this?
How would you adjust to University life?
What would you miss about Lancashire?
What does Parapsychology entail in a scientific base?
Why Aberdeen?
Any questions?
Hope this helps and good luck guys

i thought that it was a lil hefty too when I walked out the interview room :P
Im not too bothered to be honest as unless they offer me an unconditional offer I doubt that I will take it up anyway
Have you been offered anywhere Donna?
The interviewers were really nice anyway, and I made them chuckle quite abit which is always good :lol:SuperMan!!
