Who Is Accepting Their Offer?
Well barring something major happening looks like I will be going to Aberdeen this year.
So who else is thinking of accepting theirs?
And to whom this may concern ( you know who you are
) if you do end up going as well then yes I shall stick to my word and make you a cake.
To everyone else.. I did NOT take hospitality this year so I can't cook for my life

Well, Keenie-babez, I've accepted it as my insurance so I may very well be going if laziness takes me over...
It's a good wee place.
I live just down the road...
I'm guessing you're not a local ... ?

erm I am actually a guy. Just because I cook and use a water-skiing squirrel as my avatar don't make a gal does it?
No I live in Edinburgh. I have only ever been to Aberdeen once and that was to attend my interview. It really is going to be strange up north. I have heard from a friend who used to live up there it is absolutely freezing in winter so just how bad a time are we in for?
Despite the fact I don't need anything this year I think I may try and actually do some work. Try not to blenish my SQA certificate too much although I am sure I will get a least one B this year...4th year @ Aberdeen..... although I will be doing a Bsc in September!

Well I've already accepted mine. So unless I fall off a cliff or something I'll be going

And btw, I'm more Northerly than Aberdeen. And it isn't that bad.Aberdeen 2007

No, I just say that regardless of gender, I knew you were male

WELL, I live further north than Aberdeen and I was out wearing shorts and a T-shirt last week. Albeit I was slightly chilly once I was out but the thought was there.
There's a saying along these villages - "Dinna cast a cloot til May is oot"
That means, It's best to wrap up warm until May.
Mind you Stuey, us Northerners have puting up with cold in our genes, someone from the sunny climes of Edinburger may have a tougher time.
I have seen me walking down Union street with the wind trashing against my face and thought that I may indeed die of the cold.
Well, I'm off to work on some Chemistry to try and meet the conditions of my Glasgow. If I was deffo going to Aberdeen I wouldn't give a hoot about my forthcoming exams - take this time to chill out because once you get into medical school every single exam will count and you really have to know your stuff or peeps could die.
Geezo, quite a bit of pressure, aye.
Give your brain a rest man!!

Aberdeen!
Hi All!
I'm very much a Newbie on this Forum.... I have just received a conditional for Aberdeen, which is my first choice, and St Andrews, my second choice!
Got to finish the Access to Medicine course at COWA but that aside I will see you all in Sep!
P.S. I'm a golden oldie mature student at the ripe old age of 25....

Hey CMP. Congratulations on your offer!!
I also have an offer for both Aberdeen and St Andrews. I am wondering why you are making Aberdeen you first choice? If you dont mind me asking I would be very interested in your reasoning. I understand the cost factor but is there anything else you are thinking. Feel free to send me a personal massage if you want
