    parents' information evening

    Hey My parents ust got a letter today inviting them to a parents' information evening in Belfast castle I was wondering if anyone else from here got one, my mate did but her parents arent going up cos shes going for queens instead now, do any other unis do this or is it just aberdeen?

    my mum has one, but its for salford quays. i think its a bit weird personally, they havent even offered me a place yet, but theyve sent out invites to a parents thing? hmmm.

    If we haven't got one does that mean we're being rejected? I've heard nothing from Aberdeen since a couple of weeks ago when they said they were starting to score my application. My parents haven't had any sort of communication from them.

    yeah I thought it was a bit weird too cos I havent got an interview date yet or anything, I wonder what it means like would thye not be giving us one if they werent going to interview us because it wouldnt really make snese if they were letting our parents come talk to them then not even giving us an interview, but god only knows how unis work

    I called to ask why bother basically, and the woman said that they give one to absolutely everyone. The only way not to get one is to be rejected before now.

    So it doesnt mean we're in. And it doesnt mean we're out.

    We haven't had an invite but I haven't been rejected yet either! If they have decided to reject you but haven't sent you the official letter, what does that mean? I'm worried as ev1 else seems 2 hav parents evening invites
