Parent guide???

did any1 receive a kind of small booklet like a prospectus called parent's guide through the post? i haven't even heard from them except an acknowledgment letter... wats this all about?

i too recieved the parent guide while i havnt heard anything from them since the acknowledgment letter, do they send this to eevry one who applied for the course ............what is it supposed to mean!

well i haven't exactly read it, but it doesn't seem to me specific for the medic course so i'm guessin they sent it to every1 who applied to Aberdeen. but to say whether its good news or not is beyond me. mayb its just to comfort the parents who too, are worrying for the future of the likes of us

i got the parent guide thing last year when i applied too - it usually arrives just before the offers come out. its a bit cruel tho - u see a big envelope from the uni, rip it open, and find a leaflet but no offer!

and as vak said, everyone gets one!

dont worry - abderdeen can be pretty slow at giving out offers as they process them in small batches (which means you either hear really quickly - or have to wait ages - sorry guys)

i was hoping some where in ur msg heed u wud say that everyone who got the parent guide got an offer... but i'm guessing a no no...

does Aberdeen give out offers without interviews?

omg yeah that happened to me i got the letter and i was liek FINALLY and i ripped it open, took out the leaflet and then literaly searched the envelope, sure they'd forgotten something? surely its not a BAD sign anyway??
