This list was posted last year and I thought it would help everyone to post it again.

Apparantly, Aberdeen weigh the interview as 75% of their decision, and is broken down into 3 subcategories

1. Commitment to medicine
2. Understanding of core qualities of a doctor
3. Understanding of professional issues such as teamwork and evidence of outside interests

heya thanks 4 posting tht - had my interview on wednesday and it was really handy to practice with sum of ur questions tht wer specifically 4 aberdeen!!

hey yeh they asked about if id considered a gap year + wot id do if i had 2 take 1
y medicine,y aberdeen obv!! em if i thot i was prepared for student life since id b in halls, they asked bout y i wldnt lik 2 b another allied healthcare proffesional - eg nurse, physio etc (+ if id ever considered it), they asked wot makes a bad doctor! and wot my friends would say about me - good + bad points!! + sum stuff from my personal statement - work exp etc
they wer really friendly - i think i might ov been too much myself since they wer so nice - i talk a lot think i mite hav talked to much + seemed 2 confident!! - but hey thats wot im lik so take it or leave it!! and the fire alarm kept going on + off which was a bit distracting - but we carried on!!

haha they test the fire alarms here every wednesday. There was a pneumatic drill blaring outside the window of the interview room on my interview day last year. Sounds like you got the same questions I did last year. Good luck hope you get a place sounds like you did well!

heya thnk u :-) thts a relief tht it goes off every week + they didnt just really hate me + want me out the building hehe so u got in thn? wot u think of the course? hope its goin wel 4 u
