Firstly, you severely underestimate the ability of 4 year olds if you think they can't understand that girls have vaginas, boys have penises, and mummies and daddies love each other very much and make babies together. This is the extent of what they would be taught in sex education at that age.
And what the hell does innocent mean today anyway? Its just another word for ignorance which isn't something we should encourage in children.
