tbh i think that its rich for you to act like an arrogant twit towards someone whos obviously just trying to do some research. for goodness sake you can't tell me that you knew the ins and outs of the entire medical field before getting into med school - oh yeah thats right, you're not at med school yet - so i suggest you give the guy a break and if not at least provide some advice and info for him/her.
goodness me, who'd have asking a question would require you to then dive for cover!!!!

This guy says he has an offer for medical school. This means he considers that he has made an educated decision that he would 1) suit medicine 2) that it suit him. Further to that, he has actually commited to going to medical school and becoming a doctor.
The above decisions should all hinge on a basic understanding of what a medical student does once graduated. I mean come on, whats more basic than wether you can become a GP or a hospital doctor once graduated?
I haven't applied yet, but I do know about the foundation years and I do know, to a lesser extent, about how specialist training works thereafter. Admittly, I will have to do more research on the latter before I fully commit to applying.
