Back to my two cents: it will mean your social life will suffer substantially and every person requires a core social network to be psychologically stable and not just one's mother.

IMHO it's a bit selfish for you to have been put in this awkward situation. Your mother won't get the 'uni' experience just from living with someone who is at uni.
