Perhaps something in the algorithm should account for impossible scenarios in the "decisions" bit:

I just got "Oxbridge - Low grades" against "Not oxbridge - High grades required". Somewhat of a self-defeating question. I don't know how easy to code it out of the system it would be though..

Similarly: "Oxbridge - Not in Southern Britain".

It works for most imaginary medschools, but when oxbridge is specified then it's no longer imaginary...

Other than that i think this is very good. It's nothing clever, you tell it what you like and it tells you which schools have that, but it does it in a nicely presented and easy way (compared to trawling paper/websites).

It came up with my four choices as 1=, 3, 4, 5=. The others at 1= being Oxford, and 5= Cardiff. So not bad at all, even the ones that weren't my actual choices weren't far off as far as schools go.
