yey its true that your background will always affect 'ow you spend.
i do fink that £3000 in fees should justify a decent sciency libraries, which we've got (two infact), so i guess i'm glad i didnt choose to go elsewhere. i've now spent less than £10 on books in three years (A lvls and uni combined), so i'm glad i've done this in a way i can spend on the useful aspects of our lives. granted there is a medic doonstairs who has spent £200 on books in her 1st year aready, and about £700 in A lvls (medsim +texts) not including her 1000s on skool fees o course, her parents spent that - but if i was her i wuld ave chosen to spend that £890 extra money on me maccas - charity event organising for one.
SO yey i can see where you are coming from - her philosophy of 'spend on me me me' to get sumwhere is the solution to the problem is fair enuff from her point of view, you know? Cos its all shes grown up wif.
