The Arrhythmics are a jazz, blues and swing band based around Edgbaston in Birmingham. From Relaxing laid-back grooves to Rat-Pack classics, funky jazz to full-on rhythm and blues, all musical tastes and entertainment requirements are catered for. The band was formed by members of the orchestra of the annual University of Birmingham Medical School musical and each member of the band is either a medical student, medical researcher or fully qualified doctor studying at, or having graduated from University of Birmingham Medical School.

If you are interested in the world of tech, you should definitely check out the new Scoble Show on Podtech. He has been videoing tech luminaries for a long time at Microsoft and he’s back at it in his new job at Podtech.

I have a long commute at the moment so I’ve been investigating putting some Podcasts on my SPV M5000 pocket pc phone.

I’ve mostly been subscribing to tech podcasts but I also found some medical ones which might be of use to other doctors. Medical Podcasting seems to be in it’s infancy at the moment but I think it’s a great way of reaching people. The Washington Post claims there are close to 2000 medical podcasts out there.
