Genius picture, not so much the person who found it! Whoever thought of using a magnet on a floppy disk is probably to used to CD’s which do not have the data they contain corrupted by close proximity to magnets!
The person looking for it is hardly likely to have the data backed up either if finding the disk was so important. Doh!

You have a computer that can still actually read those archaic things? Really.
Funny nevertheless.
(P.S. I still have some 8′” true floppies stashed away in a closet that have (had?) WordStar on them along with every subsequent evolutionary step.)
