Hi Chaps,

Thanks for the comments. I'll try and sort out an email feed.

Astronaut training does sound tough! I'm sure it would be worth it though.

Hello Chris,

I am glad I found your site.

So, like me, you are one to think being strapped to a chair and spun-up to 8g's is fun? Of course I say that it sounds fun without fear of ever being asked to step into a centrifuge. However, what little aero-med torture I have endured (24,000 feet in an unpressurized glider, and 6g's in an aerobatic airplane) have made me realize how gruesome astronaut training must be!

Have you seen "The Right Stuff"? There are some great depictions of early US astronaut training in that film.

Best regards, Olivier.

Hello Chris. I'm very impressed with the content of your blog. Actually you are like a dream come true for me. I'm a medical student but I'm not much into practising medicine as such. I have got a propensity for the technological side of medicine. Can you please tell me if there are prospects for me as a medical student to enter your field, that is Medical Informatics and the steps necessary to achieve it?!

Keep up with the good work! Your site is definitely worth the detour. Btw just a little suggestion for you. Can you add a email feed subscription so that I can receive your feeds directly as I do not use a rss reader.

Thnx,

Your truly,
